People are not settling for the normal standard Apple watches that are being sold. Now they are taking to their desk and engraving highly detailed and beautiful designs on the steel version of the watch. Some of these designs are selling for over ten thousand US dollars after completion, which is just ridiculous since any Tattoo artist could make this watch in under 3 hours.
What I don't understand is why is it so expensive? Engraving is relatively easy if you purchase a simple $30-50 engraver pen from Ebay. If you are an artist already, then this is going to be even easier for you. The watch is small, and only the steel version can be done, the aluminum version is not strong enough to be engraved...but I got one and may have a go at it soon enough.
Right now, I see two watches on Ebay being sold with engraving. One is the 38mm size and they want over $800 US for it, the other is made in Ukraine and they want $1,400 US for ether 38 or 42mm sizes.
So...why not let the artist inside...outside to play? Don't buy this watch engraved, instead create the watch with your own skills and a $30 tool and this way save thousands.
Today my wife ordered a new iphone 7 plus...not just because she needed one, but because here in Taiwan they have a FREE gift of Beats red earphones for one day only to celebrate Chinese New Years. My wife told me the earphones saved her 30% of the cost of the phone, so I have to admit...thats a really good deal. Its not available outside of Asia, but is right now open to Taiwan, China, Japan, Singapore. Its unknown if this is also with purchase of Apple watch, but I do believe it should be since the price of some watches are extreme.
To be eligible, customers must buy select Mac or iPhone products as part of a one-day sale, which will take place starting 8AM on January 6. The products in question include any iMac, the MacBook Pro (minus the new model with Touch Bar), MacBook Air, Mac Pro, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, or iPhone 7 Plus.
Needless to say, I'm a bit jealous of my wifes good luck...litrally since red color on Chinese New Years is considered good luck.

Hey everyone. I was strutting through Taipei with my new white iwatch on my wrist, when the unthinkable almost happened. You know what I'm talking about. Yeah, I almost scrapped my watch against a heavy glass case as I walked though a crowed shopping mall. It sent shivers down my spine. I dared not looked down at it, so others wouldn't notice that I had done something so idiotic as I did. A few minutes later I took a look at it and found it survived unscathed. This taught me something valuable. I'm a clumsy oaf so I need a cover for my watch. I searched the internet and found nothing under $15 US and decided to search that local iphone shops. After checking about 8 unofficial iphone stores I decide to hit up a real Apple store. Here I found my watches salvation. A white rubber cover. It cost me $24 US for it, but I was desperate. It came with two clear plastic screen protectors which I later found out made my watch screen equal to the screen resolution of a iphone 3. After tossing the screen protectors in the garbage I put on the rubber armor and it was wonderful. So if you have an iwatch sport, consider a case for it. Oh, and don't get the plastic hard cases, they pop off and you will waste your money.
PS: A day later someone on Ebay began selling a similar watch rubber case that looked 95% similar to mine for only $2 US. with free shipping, but I didnt have the time to wait 2 weeks while I destroy my watch. I had to have it now, but next time, I will order the Ebay version.
Click here to see the Ebay cover for $2, I highly recommend it.
