If Apple hired Nickelodeon to run focus groups, this is what they’d sound like. “It’s really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don’t know what they want until you show it to them.” —Steve Jobs, Businessweek. 1998. The sample of respondents in the attached video—eight minutes of kids seeing the Apple Watch for the first time—is hardly scientific. These are tech-savvy L.A. schoolchildren who have their own iPhones. But their comically theatrical responses mirror pretty accurately the reactions I get when I show friends and relatives my Apple Watch. This, Sir Jony, is what “mixed reviews” look like: Putting on the watch: “I can’t do this. Does anyone know how to do this?” Hearing that the Watch needs an iPhone: “Are you serious?” “That’s just dumb.” After pressing the digital crown: “Ooo. Appy!” The app interface: “It’s all in one little cluster. So it’s really hard to find stuff.” The telephone feature: “You look like a spy, just talking into your watch while you’re walking down the street.” The utility: “It has the things that a normal phone has, but it’s not as good as a phone.” Who needs it? “Nobody really needs a smartphone. Nobody needs this either. You don’t need a TV either, but it’s a cool thing to have.” How do you feel about it? “It’s cool but I don’t need it but I really really want it.” The bottom line: “It’s an accessory. It’s going to catch on, but it’s not going to be as common as the iPhone.”

Crazy Guy Destroys 18K Gold Apple Watch With Magnets, June 2016, iwatch Hints, Tech News.
What better way to put the 38mm 18k yellow gold Apple Watch Edition to use then to crush it with 2 powerful neodymium magnets equaling to 650 pounds of force!
OMG This guy in the video is crazy to destroy this watch. Does he really think the engeneers at Apple or Samsung care about one single product in the end? they just see the selling numbers and their paycheck at the end of the month and then they give a fuck about what happens to one or one hundred devices as long as they got sold. and just think about, how many devices are getting destroyed in a normal production cycle for normal stress tests.... You should start think that way.
1984 Apple's First Macintosh Commercial Defends Apple Even Today, Bite That Skeptics, Apple Tip News.
So many people putting down Apple for apparently being responsible for the introduction of a telescreen system. First off, 1984 won't happen. I'm sorry conspiracy theorists, it won't. 1984's totalitarian system might appear impossible to break, but there is no feasible means of establishing it. Even if it were so, it would be crushed under its own weight from massive corruption or would topple over from widespread public dissent/failing economy. You know how many dictatorships would do 1984 precisely if it was that fucking easy to control people and eternally maintain it, especially a multi-continental population worth? There are aspects of 1984 that could exist, but if there is to be a dystopia, capitalism says that it will likely be Brave New World. Secondly, what exactly is your point in giving Apple shit for creating Macs, iPads, iPhones, etc? Are you saying that Apple SHOULDN'T have made them!? Hypocrites. Hypocrites everywhere. How many of you have iPhones or smart phones in your pockets right now? How many of you are typing on either a mac or a computer from microsoft, a corporation who has piggy backed on Apple's advancements since the invention of a personal computer? Who the hell are you to put them down? You wouldn't be typing your damning statements of Apple without Apple's products. If technological progress is really so terrible and a CLEAR path to totalitarianism, why begin at Apple? How about we blame the inventors of a television? 1984 also used gambling, spirits, and cigarettes to keep people in line, we might as well blame those as well for totalitarianism. And 1984 wouldn't thrive if they didn't have guns and batons, might as well blame those conspiring bastards who dared to invent the gun. 1984 also had uniforms consisted of jumpsuits, I guess jumpsuits are now a shrewd plan towards totalitarianism as well. Point being, the technology and its inventors themselves are not responsible for totalitarian dystopias, if such a thing is even feasible, it would be the people using them. So show a little more appreciation you pretentious children.
Apple Patent Say New Watch 2 Will Have A Camera, June 2016, iwatch tech news.
Technology
Patent hints a camera could be inside the next Apple Watch
The Apple Watch hasn’t seen a hardware update since it was released thirteen months ago. But whenever the day for a face lift finally comes, there’s a good chance the Apple Watch will contain a built-in camera, if a recent patent from Apple is to be taken without a pinch of salt.
Inside a recent collection of documents published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a few small illustrations allude to future Apple Watch designs including a built-in camera.
Although the premise of the documents is a reference to pushing location-specific information to an Apple Watch, a tip-off in the form of a built-in camera is seen if you look closely enough. Specifically, Figure 2 within the document makes mention of a camera within the user interface of the Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Camera Patent
Within the text of the document, Apple makes mention of “a compact digital camera that includes an image sensor such as a CMOS sensor and optical components (e.g. lenses) arranged to focus an image onto the image sensor, along with control logic operable to use the imaging components to capture and store still and/or video images.”
Although Apple doesn’t specify details about what the purpose of an onboard camera would be, as noted by Patently Apple, the documents mention that the camera could face outward so as to capture QR codes and other scannable input. Facing outward would also permit the camera to capture an image of the person wearing the watch.
It’ll be interesting to see whether or not this feature will be implemented in the next iteration of the Apple Watch. Unlike the iPhone’s consistent release schedule, Apple is yet to even hint at a release date for the next-generation smartwatch.
Whenever it does arrive though, this little tidbit lends credit to the rumors that it may very well have a built-in camera module for selfies with a flick of the wrist.
The Pantent abstract states:
A host device (e.g., mobile device) and a wearable device can cooperate to provide location-specific information to a user. For example, a host device can maintain a store of location-specific information records. When the host device detects that its current location corresponds to a relevant location for one of the records, the host device can send the record (or a portion thereof) to a paired wearable device. The wearable device can present information content from the record to a human user and/or to a machine such as a scanner or wireless communication terminal.

Cupertino, Calif. company's keynote WWDC 2016 in San Francisco talks about WatchOS 3, The Speed Demon, Jun 14, 2016, News.
Apple's smartwatch could be going to deliver on the pledges on which they have yet to provide.
That is the takeaway from the Apple Watch portion of the Apple company's keynote at its gross annual developer's conference.
Most crucially, Apple professionals said another version of the device's software, dubbed WatchOS 3, would considerably increase apps' launching time. "In watchOS 3, your favorite programs should respond instantly," said Apple VP of Technology Kevin Lynch, who demonstrated off a demonstration of the quicker launching times to applause from the developer-heavy group.
If the update works as publicized, it'll talk about one of the very most commonly noticed claims about the Apple Watch, which launched to great fanfare just over this past year. Apps, those created by outside developers particularly, can be slow to use on the wearable gizmo painfully. The quicker speeds should be felt over the device, on both third-party and native apps, says Apple.
Other future Apple Watch improvements add a new iPhone-like control centre and slicker navigation options, new watch encounters, and an SOS feature for disaster situations. The device's health features are receiving new talents as well, including specially-designed features for wheelchair-bound users, a deep-breathing exercise guide, and a competition panel that presents your friends' activity levels alongside your own, a visible feature of rival wearables like Fitbit's offerings.
When these notable changes spin out this land, Apple's next task will be convincing skeptical customers that they need to hand the Apple Watch another chance. While Apple has yet to talk about Apple Watch sales numbers, outside quotes hover in the 3 million range. While little or nothing to sneeze at, that shape is underwhelming for a business that has sold up to 50 million iPhone items in confirmed quarter.

1. Hold the long side button on the watch for 5-8 seconds, until the screen gives you two or three buttons as options.
2. Don't use the buttons, instead put your finger in the middle of the screen and press.
3. Watch say "Erase all content and settings." This is where you now restore the watch to original factory settings by hitting that red button.
4. Connect watch to power source (charging cord).
5. The button, are you sure will appear, push the check mark to say yes.

The accompanying picture demonstrates our picking up section into the gadget. We alert anybody hoping to attempt this at home as probably, if the presentation module wasn't broken before it will be subsequent to endeavoring to get to the battery, coordinated circuits or other mechanical or specialized gadgets inside. Get More Screen Space On Your Iwatch With This Tech, May 2016, iwatch Hints And Apps For Daily Use Tech News.
Could two wearables be superior to anything one? Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute (HCII) will show some new research one week from now in which they exhibit a system went for augmenting the accessible screen space for smartwatch wearers by including an extra wearable in with the general mish-mash: a ring. Their smartwatch-ring wearable combo offers what they depict as "a novel detecting approach" — utilizing the conductivity of human skin with a specific end goal to track 2D finger touch co-ordinates continuously and turn the region of the body straightforwardly around the smartwatch into an intuitive, touch-following surface. The thought being that wearables like smartwatches can feel cramped and fiddly to cooperate with, given how little their screens should be to fit on the normal human wrist. The ring in addition to smartwatch methodology would permit a watch wearer to, for instance, run a finger down the back of their hand and after that swipe right to look through an on-screen list and select a thing. Alternately follow a letter on the back of their hand to easy route to a specific application or hush an approaching call. Offloading a portion of the essential on-screen taps and swipes onto the encompassing skin likewise liberates the screen from being obstructed by fingers — conceivably making for a predominant smartwatch application experience, for example, for diversions (the scientists utilize the case of playing Angry Birds in the above demo video).

Apple Watch: One year later. Are you still wearing it? April 2016, iwatch Hints For Daily Use News.
I still wear my iwatch. I love how easily I can put it on with the sport band. I like that it's water resistant and doesn't start to smell after a while from sweat, unlike other watches I've owned. I like that it sets goals for how many calories to burn each day. and to exercise 30 mins. I like that when I'm working out at the gym I can check my heart rate, and also change the song playing and the volume without taking out my phone. I like that it reminds me to stand every hour. I like that the time (duh it's a watch) is always accurate. I like that I can check the weather date and basic information so easily. I like that when I charge it at night it has a clock that I can see right next to my bed. I like the subtle taps it gives you when you have a message or need to turn when using navigation. I like how force touching the screen is a way to access more functions of the watch rather than some redundant button or a touch icon that takes more screen space. The watch is honestly a nice accessory for those that like fitness, and a simpler way to get information and perform simple tasks at a glance. It does exactly as advertised.
That said, not everyone really needs this device, the same goes even for a regular watch. But for those who opt for it, will definitely have something that's more functional than the traditional watch. Hence smart watch.
As for all the smartwatches, I personally feel that the Apple watch seems to be the most intuitive and easy to use, while still retaining a lot of functionality. That seems to be Apple's trademark. SCW

How To Find A Stand For Your iwatch At A Cheap Price, Sept 27, 2015, Apple Tips News.
Hey guys, you know what my iwatch needed most? A stand for my desk. I always lay it on its side and it gets pushed against other things on my desk. I needed a stand to sit it on. Let me show you where to get the best priced stand.
First off for anywhere between $3 US dollars and $12 you can get the best stand ever only on Ebay. You need to click the tab that says free shipping and only search stand that won't cost to ship. This way you save a load.
I myself purchased the wooden model. It should be here in a few days. All the stands hold the round recharger nicely tucking inside so the watch can fit comfortably on it.

Apple iwatch is knocking out Elite Watches Across The Board, Aug 2015, Apple Tips News.
Retailers sold $375 million of watches during the month, 11 percent less than in June 2014, according to data from NPD Group. The 14 percent decline in unit sales was the largest since 2008, according to Fred Levin, head of the market researcher’s luxury division. “The Apple Watch is going to gain a significant amount of penetration,” he said Thursday in a phone interview. “The first couple of years will be difficult for watches in fashion categories.” The market for watches that cost less than $1,000 is most at risk, as consumers in that price range have indicated they’re the most likely to buy an Apple Watch, Levin said. Sales of watches costing between $50 and $999 registered drops in June, the biggest being a 24 percent decline in timepieces from $100 to $149.99, according to NPD’s data. (more at source).

How To Save 38% Or More On Your iwatch Purchase, August 2015, Apple Tips News.
Hey guys, I did it. I got the stainless steel magnetic band. And why not right. I went from a sport watch to a metal band one, all for less than $30. US. I bought the metal magnetic band on Ebay. It came from China with free shipping! I cannot see any flaws with it. It slide on my watch like it was made by Apple themselves. Perfect.
My white sport 42 iwatch= $399. US
My metal band size 42= $30. US
Total cost=$429. US
------------------------------------------------
Savings= $270
I went from this white 42 mm sport to the metal 42 below.
Now this translates into a massive saving since this metal band is being sold by Apple for about $180. US and thats without a watch.
Also, you can buy this exact watch from Apple, but if you do, it wall cost you $699. US for the exact same watch you see in the photo, except the watch case I have from the sport is aluminum and doesn't scratch as easily as the more expensive stainless steel case. The inside of the watch is exactly the same, the sport, the steel and the gold. Inside is the same.
So I paid $429. US for mine and the same watch (almost same) is being sold by Apple for $699. That means I saved a grand total of $270. US on it. Thats about 38% savings. Guys, I know a lot of fun things I can do with that saved money, don't you? Play it smart, think about this before you buy the more expensive watches. SCW
I went from this to this for only $30 US extra.
